America the busy: A poem
2004-05-13, 8:05 p.m.

WARNING!!!! If you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of reading things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is okay to read, save yourself, and me, the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, I.E. my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. This I hope you keep in mind, and thank you for reading.

I Hear America Running

On the sidewalks, were running

One the roads, were running

From the our homes, were running

From the airports, were running

To the store, were running

To the restaurant, were running

Always busy, were running

Always procrastinating, were running

Running home to your children

Running home to your hunny

Running to work for boss

Running to work for your money

We listen to each step we take in life

We listen as were running forward, unable to step back

Taking out time, we run through great obstacles

Taking however many steps, we choose a path

Not knowing how long a path is, were brave

Not knowing which was to go, were brave

Running over the river

Running through the woods

Asking ourselves one question every so often...

Where am I?

Running from

Running for

Running to

Running with

Where are you?
