WARNING!!!! If you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of reading things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is okay to read, save yourself, and me, the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, I.E. my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. This I hope you keep in mind, and thank you for reading.

"If you never take the time, how will you ever have time?"
We are people, and time is one thing we all have in common. In relation to time, we, the person, are one of a kind...one of three kinds..:

Broadly speaking:
Past
Present
or Future

We're all moving forward, however we like it or not...in some way or another. For many, time passes us by, for others, we don't know what we're missing, and for most, we just don't know any better.

Those of us who focus (or dwell) on the past ... they rarely celebrate. There is nothing to celebrate about the past. It doesn't matter if something amazing happened, although you could look at celebrating anniversaries as being thankful for something amazing that happened in the past, but I look at them as memories in themselves. I would never say there is nothing wrong with thinking about or reliving memories. If you were smiling and laughing, it was worth it. To you. Once anniversaries become routine, however, I can imagine that what was most special about the memory is forgotten. You're just not going to be laughing as hard second time you hear the joke, and even worse: When it's a joke to you, you're not benefiting from it.

The present is something to celebrate. We would not be where we are without our past, and having lived through it is something to celebrate. We can always laugh at ourselves before we were evolved. If we knew then what we know now, maybe we wouldn't be laughing still...and the fact that we can laugh goes to show how much we've learned.

Isn't it children who are laughing the most?
They're constantly evolving.
Taking away their laughter is taking away their childhood and therefore not seeing them grow.

However, adults who need this laughter are still growing up. It sets them back, the alcohol, the drugs, the parties, and the...well, friends.

When you have nothing to look forward to, you give yourself something to look back on. Many people do things they regret, and make the mistakes just to learn from them.

Remember, "Yesterday don't matter if it's gone."

These people may not be needy, but they want more than anything...as if they they need these mistakes, they need these friends, even...
...and their friends need them just the same, otherwise these people get along with nobody else.

Take what you can get...

Remember, "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone."

You'll never be happy if it's not something you've earned. Play the lottery. Do the same things everyday.

See potential?

You're motivated by the future.

You're independent.

You're creative.

You're a teacher.

You're a hard worker and, therefore, when something happens that makes you laugh or makes you smile, it means so much more.

In the end, you're a parent because your relationships are so much more important to you. When your babies see that you know what you're doing and how to live life, they'll love you for it and have hope for themselves.

They won't marry the first person who makes them smile...they'll marry the one that keeps them smiling and wants them smiling.

Living life is loving life and not forgetting to smile. Existing in the present may keep you smiling for the time being...but it's the friends you love unconditionally that keep you living towards the future. Be they your children or your soul mate, they are the loves of your life.

Here's to a good one...
