New Stuff: GTA: SA, PS2, Memories
2004-11-02, 3:48 p.m.

WARNING!!!! If you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of reading things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is okay to read, save yourself, and me, the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, I.E. my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. This I hope you keep in mind, and thank you for reading.

I have totally been without my beloved internet since two Sunday's ago. I mean, yeah, it sucked, and I'm sure you're probably choking on the fact that I'm still alive. But this is why I'm writing now, to assure your deniability that I am still here and to tell you what I've been up to.

A whole week ago, to me, seems like a year ago because the memory is stuck in my mind just like that. I was choked by Frankenstein's monster. No joke. It was quite fun, actually. There was also Chelsey who got her head smashed in, but that wasn't the only horror icon at Teddy's house. Teddy was basically the director, writer, and an actor of the night. There was the Wolfman, Lagoon monster, Vampire, and a mummy. It was a freak show, well done, and added music was a very nice touch. "The Halloween Show" aired on Friday and not one person didn't like it.

Working with the Video Production crew was quite interesting and a lot of fun. Today I took Teddy's Fright Night CD and am copying it right now. I think these songs could be put to good use. This has Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, Jaws, Friday the 13th, and Psycho, not to mention quite a lot more. I don't know if I learned a lot except how they do things, but that's all that needs to be learned.

The following Thursday, the day before the Halloween Show aired, I was totally bored, but I had plans to go shopping with my mom. We were going to return my beloved ps2 because the 2 year warranty I bought on it was going to be done on the 10th of November. Two years with that thing and it was time to get a new one. The first game I bought only a couple weeks after getting the ps2 (I use it mostly for a DVD playa) was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Getting to Best Buy, the best store ever, there were big empty stands of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This guy who worked there had two in his hand and gave one to the guy standing next to him. As if in a trance, I reached out and grabbed the last one out of his hand, and my mom laughed. I just couldn't let it go, and I didn't. The ps2's were sold out but I bought San Andreas and took my ps2 home to play my new game.

The movies are cool, the game is dramatic. The only thing I don't like and will say so is that you no longer use the D-pad and must use the joy stick. Oh well, I am already used to it. The driving is really good. New features are what everybody's wanting to hear about. Well, I'll tell you that my favorite new weapon would be the shovel...but the heat seeking missile is something I haven't experimented with yet. New cars are good looking low riders. There is also a pimp mobile that actually allows you to pimp, which is a mission just like taxi driver missions. There are also motorcycles, a couple of new ones, and taking those on the highway is so cool. If you go fast enough, the screen gets blurry making you feel really fast. There are bikes, yes, and I rode my BMX to the bike park and rode up the walls 'n stuff. I've bought new green pants to increase my sex appeal, which gets me those hookers. I can also buy sun glasses and chains to look all gangsta. You can modify your car, too...I had to steal a low-rider convertible (Voodoo from Vice City) which comes with hydraulics, and I got a paint job which put flames on the front of my car. Good stuff. And there is too much to write in here...buy the strategy guide, I did.

So the next day at school I was waiting to get home and play the game, even though I did my crappy school work. And I spent the after school time to play it until 5:00pm when my mom came home and I went out to get my new ps2. I didn't open it until Sunday.

Brady's Halloween party wasn't that good or really worth it. There are some people you just can't have at a Halloween party. I brought "The Evil Dead" and Emma cried because she was so scared of it. It was great fun to watch with her until she started crying. I mean, that made me feel like shit. I wanted to turn it off. We should have watched "Sleepy Hollow." Oh well, I didn't dare mention it. But people talked during the beginning of the movie...for like 20 minutes of it which pissed me off too much, but I didn't say anything because Brady and I were practically the only ones watching. But when the horror started, they paid attention. A couple girls at the party, like Chelsey and Emily, claimed that it didn't scare them and they didn't like it. Oh well, I'll never be bored watching that movie...although it's not a movie you can watch whenever. Like, on Christmas Eve, that will not be going in my new DVD playa.

I spent the night at Brady's on Friday, and his brother came down and joined us saying, perfectly randomly, that I was his favorite friend that Brady has. "Do you feel honored?" Brady asked me.

"Why yes I do."

Brady and I went up after I watched a few minutes of "Total Recall" which was on TV. The porn was all static, haha. I fell asleep to some movie, but I forget what it was. That was my favorite part. Brady met some girl through his online computer game which was quite cool and I dreamt about her...well, I dreamt about SOME hot girl and I assumed that it was her...because when I told Brady, he laughed.

The next day we drove to a hotel and the ride was great fun, I slept the whole way. I listened to "Bye Bye Birdie," and "D12 World," which are probably the two CD's least likely to be in the same collection.

When we arrived to the hotel I had eaten my breakfast meal from McDonald's and Brady and I settled in the room we stayed at. Then we had to walk over to the park...Cedar Point, yet again. We hit every ride that day. The weather couldn't have been better, though it was windy enough to close down a couple of rides, but if Raptor wasn't closed the whole day, I never would have talked Brady into going on the Mantis, which is the one you stand up on. He loved it. The only rides I still need to encounter are the "Top Thrill Dragster" and "Devil's Drop."

I think I'll need someone else to help me talk Brady into Top Thrill.

That night, my feet were blistered, and since the park was Halloween themed for the weekend, we were watching some people who work at the park scare people who walked through 'Fright Zone' and a carnival themed area. That was cool, except I saw one of the workers flip some guy off and I said "Hey that's not cool," but Brady explained to me that the guys who she was flipping off grabbed her ass. So I felt bad.

We saw Alli, who goes to our school, at the park which was kind of eventful, more coincidental. But when we got there, his parents had met a couple of friends. I am so sorry that I have forgotten their names, one was Adam, but there were two guys. They were super nice. Brady had talked about these guys, his parents had known them and invited them to the park. What Brady told me about these guys was assured when Adam started talking about how big the football players were, "Oh yes, he's a big boy."

Back in the hotel room, Brady and I used the futon. Since Brady was really warm, he opened the door, which made me freezing! I ended up sleeping in my coat while watching "Scary Movie 2." Waking a couple times in the middle of the night allowed me to get up and shut the door. I was still freezing, but it wasn't until Brady woke me up even later in the night and had me take off my jacket. He shut off the TV..."Scary Movie 2" was still on...damn, I had fallen asleep. And he had me turn off the light.

Now that may sound like a terrible time in a hotel, but it was one of the best. I love hotels.

The weekend rocked, and I'll never forget it.
